Always Do Good Things...

Salam

As a mother of four young children, I am quite disturbed with what happened to the 15-year-old boy who had been shot dead by the police. While all my heart goes out to the mother of that boy, I also have sympathy to the police force who has been accused as unprofessional, cruel and so on. After all, everything had happened, and the case is under probe. Let us pray for the justice to prevail. Al-Fatihah to the late Aminul.

As Muslims, we must believe that everything happened has its own hikmah. I believe this tragedy serves as an eye opener to the parents, educators and government, on what is happening to the youngsters nowadays. Staying out late has been the norm of today's youngsters. It is considered trendy and cool, and those who don't are considered abnormal.

While I agree that it is the basic right of every human being to do whatever they like, I appeal to everybody especially the youngsters to think of the impact of every action that you do. Staying out late is not only unhealthy to the body, it is also dangerous because you are exposing yourselves to all sorts of negative elements, e.g. drug, robbery, rape/sodomy, or even murder!

Sometimes we think that nothing wrong to have fun once in a while. It is true, but the problem is, we don't know what will happen to us in the next second. If something bad happened to us, and it happened while we are doing something bad, the impact is not only on us, but also to our family. The grief will be forever!

So, to the youngsters, especially my own children and students, please think before you do something. ALWAYS DO GOOD THINGS, so you will not be inflicted with the bad things.

FINAL EXAM COUNT DOWN

Salam.

Dear MGA1023 students, I believe all of you busy revising the book and notes for the final exam, right? I hope all of you pass with flying colours. FYI, I am informed that there are 100 multiple choice questions. So, to reply to the comment posted earlier, there will be no structured question, ONLY MULTIPLE CHOICE or OBJECTIVE or simply ABCD. Easy right? So, dont worry.

About the coverage, I am also made to understand that the final exam will cover all topics. Not too much, only 17 topics. Do read all to make sure you can answer correctly.

About the carried marks, I already finished marking the project paper and submitted the marks to the office (since I could not access the LMS). The Head of this course said that the carried marks will not be announced before the final exam as he does not want the students to be over confident or depress on something that had past. Thus, just focus on preparing for your final exam. Do your best!

Anyway, to make you feel good, just want to inform that all of you (in my class) had scored above 25% for the 50% carried marks. Meaning, all passed. So, just make sure that you pass the final exam, if possible with flying colors.

BEST OF LUCK! MAY ALLAH BLESS ALL OF YOU WITH SUCCESS IN THIS WORLD AND HEREAFTER. AMEEN.
